The Dead Schembechler
OMG
Just when I think this thing can't get any bigger, Schembechler goes and sacrifices himself for the good of the Michigan football team. Giving them extra motivation is just not what I wanted to see. Come on Coach Bruce, it's time to take one for the team. You're old. Go eat a hoagie and try to run 10 miles. That'll at least get you taken to the hospital.
By the way, you think that show at the Newport tonight just got a little crazier/wierder?

The game has gone from the absolute peak of hype, to sure fire legend in the making. I don't need to tell anyone the proper Hollywood ending to the game now, do I?
Of course, the artsy-fartsy foreign film ending favors the Buckeyes.
I am "friends" with the Dead Schembechlers on myspace, and they sent out this message yesterday afternoon:
TONIGHT'S SHOW WILL BE THE FINAL AS THE DEAD SCHEMBECHLERS: The band has announced that tonight's show will be their final under their name. If they do continue as a musical entity in the future, it will be under a changed moniker. They have also announced that all of their profits from tonight, along with those of Watershed and B.A. Baracus, will be donated to a charity of the Schembechler family's choosing. The show is tonight November 17th at The Newport Music Hall on High Street in Columbus.
