So, in case you missed it... it's March.

So I just got done watching this:

this:

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?gameId=260600077

and this:

Saucy.

That's all I can say.

On a semi-related note, can anyone find the post in the blog archives from way back when I talked about how all the local Buckeye optimists thought this year's Buckeye basketball team would be awesome. (I can't find it, but then I'm stupid.) Their reasons ranged from the fact that it was Matta's second year to the fact that J.J. Sullinger was just plain likely to get better.
I just want to see how many of my/their predictions came true.

Personally, I think a lot of people are overlooking the #1 reason the Bucks are Big Televen champs: FUSS-CHEATHAM AND STOCKMAN AREN'T HERE !!!!!!

It's the greatest example of addition by subtraction I've ever personally seen.

Ivan & Ron love that Jim Gaffigan special:

Honestly, does any team want the #1 and #2 seeds?!
Is anyone at all confident about who they're gonna pick when the brackets come out on the 12th?
Take a look at how the AP top 9 has done recently:

1. DUKE: 0-2 in March
2. UCONN: beats Louisville by a whopping 4 on Senior Day in Storrs
3. MEMPHIS - lost to Squeaky Johnson and the 40 minutes of hell on March 2
4. NOVA beat St. John’s on March 1, but lost 3 days earlier to UCONN
5. ZAGS: needed a buzzer-beater to beat San Francisco at home in their regular season finale February 27
6. TEXAS: lost to Texas A&M on March 1
7. GW: needed a miracle to beat Charlotte March 4
8. PITT: lost 3 of their last 4 games
9. OHIO STATE: very, very fortunate to escape Evanston with a 3 point win

Now, with all the major conference tournaments left to be played, there's a lot left to be said and done before the Dance. All I'm saying is that there's a lot of vulnerability in the supposed elite teams in college b-ball this year.
